In what states is homossexual nuptials allowed beside adoption of children?
Answers: Gay marriage is currently legalized in Massachusetts, and will begin subsequent week(!) in California (though there is an initiative on the November California ballot that may overturn it).
There are other states and cities near Domestic Partnership laws. Most notable is Vermont, where on earth DP is very much like marriage ceremony, but without the name or the federal rights. Other similar law are on the books in Connecticut and New Jersey, I judge. See this link for more:

Gay and lesbians can adopt in a lot more states, though. In oodles it is first done as a single parent adoption (or one parent gives birth to the child) and then the other parent can do a "step-parent" adoption. In some states gay couples can adopt a child as a couple. In abundantly of states the laws are a little "fuzzy" and it can depend on an individual adjudicate or county or social workers.
See this list of adoption laws by state:

Are Americans usually conservative in relation to homosexuals? Well, that depends on which Americans you are discussion about and whom you are comparing them to. The laws within the US discriminate more against Gays and Lesbians than in some European countries -- but less than within many parts of the world. In terms of public taking on, in a lot of places gay couples are freshly accepted as people by most of their neighbors. In some cases their situation is seriously harder. Gays do face some prejudice and stereotyping almost anywhere -- but so do people of color, women, poor and working class race, adoptees. It is unfair and wrong no matter where on earth it happens or who it happens to.
I've be an Adoption Social Worker in California for 10 years and in adjectives that time, gay adoptions (unmarried) were allowed within one form or another. Originally is began with allowing one parent to adopt, next when that was final the other partner could adopt his/her partner's child. These days it's much easier, both partners can adopt at like peas in a pod time. Now marriage is legal contained by California also, which doesn't really change the picture for adoption.
I believe CA is the most progressive on the issue of same-sex couple adoption, though it is allowed in a few other states.
In NC gay nuptials is not allowed, nor is adopting in need a man and a woman.
Most people here treat homosexuals like they are diseased. At my college my friends and I support it, and we are hated by some of the teachers. I longing we could be like the other states and just be accepting; my friends and I aren't gay, but we don't see anything wrong next to it; I believe that a person should be able to carry married and adopt whether they are gay or not. Only two states (so far) permit actual marriage between culture of the same sex - Massachussetts and California. (Though many states enjoy what is called "Civil Unions" or legal "Domestic Partnerships".)
However, most states voucher two people of the same sex to adopt, even though they are not married. I know oodles same sex couples that have adopted. I contemplate the only state that out and out bars homosexuals from adopt is Florida.
It's certainly legal for gay couples to adopt surrounded by New York State, that I'm sure of (I live in NY.)
In Wisconsin you can adopt a child even if your not married. My state (MA) passed gay marriage a couple years ago , and I am pretty sure they can adopt. But yes gay matrimonial is allowed in Mass.
